Located at the north of Jeddah, the master plan for Jeddah Medical City includes the expansion of the existing Saudi German Hospital, along with a series of centers of excellences including an Orthopedic Specialty Hospital, a Women's and Babies Specialty Hospital and a Pediatric Specialty Hospital. The city will also include Outpatient Centers and a Wellness Gym. The master plan provides a framework for growth well into the future.

The project will exude contemporary design by using modern materials and technologies and implementing sustainable design principles throughout. Among its design features is a series of gardens and streetscape that connect the entire facility and enables vertical and horizontal interaction. Environmentally sensitive landscaping complements the site as a whole and connects exterior areas of the building, including a green ring at the medical city edge, landscaped terraces that feature tactile landscaping and water features.

The 300,000 square meter city will act as a gateway and create an iconic medical destination.

IHCC has been commissioned to complete the project on a turnkey basis, including all aspects of architectural and engineering design, construction and supply and installation of medical equipment.
