Envisioned as a premier, all inclusive medical destination in Alexandria , Egypt, Batterjee Medical city will combine a range of facilities including Specialty Centers, Outpatient Centers, Housing for Staff, Medical Educational Centers, a University, and a Mixed Use Commercial and Residential Development.

Seeking quality and distinction, the city is planned on a 88,000 square meter site with a total built up area of 285,000 square meters. Planned in phases, the design aims to create an efficient and advanced medical city, providing carefully planned roadways and a pedestrian friendly urban development. Taller buildings at the perimeter act as buffer between the busy, active highway and the city itself and also create visual landmarks. Pocket parks and large open spaces of landscape are integrated throughout creating various leisure destination points.

IHCC has been commissioned to complete the project with a scope of work that includes all aspects of master planning, architectural and engineering design, construction and supply and installation of medical equipment.
