An arabesque concrete screened façade’ adds a distinct character to the building. The interior design of the hospital conveys a sense of serenity and grandeur starting from its spacious double height lobby that is flooded with natural light through its glass dome.
Operated by Saudi German Hospitals Group, the 38,281 square meters, 315 beds hospital provides world-class multidisciplinary medical services. The hospital was designed in two phases. Phase one, which was completed in 2011, comprised of the Main hospital building and Staff housing building. Phase two will be comprised of six Centers of Excellence and two Educational Centers.
IHCC completed the project on a turnkey basis, including all aspects of architectural and engineering design, construction, and supply and installation of medical equipment.
