The project was designed as part of an overall master plan to Dubai Medical City and incorporates six specialty centers along with two educational buildings

The design of the centers seeks to provide an environment that supports clinical excellence and an environment that is appropriate for patients, staff and visitors alike. The designs offer sufficient flexibility and modularity for future adaptation and expansion. The architectural and interior spaces play an important role in terms of creating healing environments, which are supported by evidence based design. The exterior incorporates vertical wooden fins which act as solar controllers, increasing sustainability and filtering natural light.

The 46,633 square meters project is planned and designed for two phases of construction.

IHCC has been commissioned to complete the project on a turnkey basis, including all aspects of architectural and engineering design, construction and supply and installation of medical equipment.
